2.3 Virtual Bulletin Boards

Virtual bulletin boards come in many forms. However, they share a common experience for users. Similar to physical bulletin boards, users can pin ideas, examples and comments to one another. For this module, you will evaluate Padlet using the Affordances & Constraints Reflection Journal - more on this in Mod 2.4.

By now, you should have seen a reference to our virtual bulletin board, Padlet, from your work on your SAMR Lesson Redesign. When you get to Mod 2.4, you will use your experience from posting and commenting in Padlet to evaluate this as a teaching and learning tool.

On your own, you will now explore virtual bulletin board tools, apps and resources and choose one that you will eventually add to our Virtual Toolbox (You'll find a link to this in Mod 2.4 and on the Affordances & Constraints Reflection Journal, both of which are introduced in Mod 2.4).

The purpose of this Toolbox is for us to share tech resources that we have vetted! Note: Please do NOT repeat a item that has already been added. Remember, you can add either a tool, an app or a resource that you would use in class as a virtual bulletin board.

After you have completed this part, move onto Mod 2.4.
