My name is Maria Delgado, I'm 30 years old, and besides being a student at Latina University, I'm also working full time as a Project Manager. I'm passionate about languages and bridging language barriers since I've been doing it my whole life. I started learning English at a very young age and have become more proficient through time. I went through a self-discovery journey where I was able to challenge myself exploring other academic settings as I developed professional skills, but one day I realized that English is one of the things I love the most and I really I feel that I have a purpose with this degree. As for now, I'm more interested in being a translator and interpreter than being a professor, but I'm not completely closed to the idea. 

Mi nombre es María Delgado, tengo 30 años y, además de ser estudiante en la Universidad Latina, también trabajo a tiempo completo como Gerente de Proyectos. Soy apasionada por los idiomas y por superar las barreras lingüísticas, ya que lo he estado haciendo toda mi vida. Comencé a aprender inglés a una edad muy temprana y con el tiempo he llegado a ser más competente. Pasé por un viaje de autodescubrimiento donde pude desafiarme a mí misma explorando otros entornos académicos mientras desarrollaba habilidades profesionales, pero un día me di cuenta de que el inglés es una de las cosas que más amo y realmente siento que tengo un propósito con este título. Por ahora, estoy más interesada en ser traductora e intérprete que en ser profesora, pero no estoy completamente cerrada a la idea.
