Throughout these two years of DP, I've completed many activities, fulfilling the IB CAS requirements. My goal throughout this experience was not to just complete the necessary 150 hours but to also have fun and enjoy my last two years of high school. The activities I participated in included events that I would usually ignore because they're not required, however, I've realized that there's always something good to gain from stepping out of my comfort zones. I've learned to cooperate with others, communicate with strangers, perform on stage, and many more. These fears that I usually avoid were conquered throughout my CAS experiences, making my DP years more beneficial and enjoyable.

Acapella
I was able to fulfill this learning outcome to a high extent. I understand myself very well, so I know my own strengths and weaknesses. The two activities on the left are about singing. I consider my voice to be one of my strengths because singing has been a skill that I've been developing since I was young. I know that my technique, volume, and confidence are sometimes lacking so I joined the two choirs to train myself. Singing in a choir allows me to understand from the teacher what I can do to perfect my singing and also allows me to develop my confidence by singing in front of an audience.
I was able to fulfill this learning outcome to a high extent. A challenge I've always had difficulties facing is speaking in front of a crowd alone. Stage fright is a common fear but I believe it is one that needs to be conquered. In the future, there will be many opportunities that require me to present in front of an audience, so I believe I need to develop this skill. By participating in the analysis workshop, I learned how to create a teaching plan as well as how to teach a class. In the beginning, I was really worried about my qualifications and ability to speak fluently, but through practice and time, I slowly got used to it and was able to finish the workshop successfully.

Beyond Horizon
I was able to fulfill this learning outcome to a high extent. Many of the activities I participated in required planning, some by myself and some with others. The Beyond Horizon project required me to plan for every lesson. The topics and teaching methods were all decided by me. I had to test my student's levels in order to create a suitable teaching plan. I also mixed in fun activities throughout the lessons so that the student can remain involved, focused, and enthusiastic.
I was able to fulfill this learning outcome to a high extent. I think I was able to persevere through most of my activities with great effort. To prepare for the Badminton TISSA Competition, the school hired a coach for us and held multiple practices. I attended most of the practice because I know that my skills were still lacking compared to my other teammates. After joining the team, I was committed to do my best because my performance will also affect the total scores for the team. In the end, we were able to win a trophy in the teams category.

MYP Presents Seussical Junior
I was able to fulfill this learning outcome to a high extent. Many of my activities required me to work with others because I'm unable to complete everything on my own, both time-wise and skill-wise. The Seussical was a great opportunity for our class to work together. Everyone worked together to build the sets and props and set up the stage. I was in the backdrop group and we worked cooperatively to plan, paint, and set up the backdrop. It was fun and enjoyable to work with everyone.
I was able to fulfill this learning outcome to some extent. The World Vision club that I joined focused on global issues like poverty, starvation, and water scarcity. We engaged with these global issues by holding fundraisers and other activities, like Matthew 25, to raise money to donate to people in need. As the vice-leader of the art group, we were in charge of creating posters and promoting the club events. Also, we were the oldest in the club, so many decisions and actions were decided and done by us, though mostly by the club president. By joining World Vision, I was able to get in touch with some of the main global issues that exist around the world and hopefully helped to reduce the effects.

Beyond Horizon
I was able to fulfill this learning outcome to some extent. When I first joined Beyond Horizon, my honest thought for joining was just to gain CAS hours, but as I started to get to know my student and recognize his enthusiasm for learning, I started to look forward to planning and teaching each lesson. I realized how much of an effect I can have on someone else with just a few words and a few minutes. I recognized the importance of my actions and started to put more effort into each lesson. I realized how fortunate I am to be able to learn and also how fortunate I am to be given the opportunity to teach and spread my knowledge. I am proud of my decision to join the project.
don't do anything alone. Planning and initiating activities with friends makes everything more enjoyable
look for activities that can fill up multiple strands at once
school-based activities, like club and TISSA, make the process easier
complete reflections after each activity, don't wait until the last minute or else it's hard to write a good reflection
