Introduction
The overall CAS program has made a huge impact on my DP experience. The multiple activities in the CAS program not only allows me to fulfill my college application, it also enriches my monotonous life.
Body
Learning outcome 1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
During our 10th Grade basketball TISSA tournament, my teammates and I won third place. Due to the fact that we identified our own strengths and tries to improve areas for growth, the amount of turnover for each game decreased rapidly, leading to victories. Despite only practice only twice a week, the bond between us and our coach is unbreakable. Even though Coach Carlos did not coach us for two consecutive years, we will still chat or play basketball once in a while.
Learning outcome 2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
Although I did have guitar lesson in 7th grade, but I had already forgotten most of them. However, I am still able to play pop songs after this CAS experiences. In this specific activity, I learned guitar through online tutorial, with the basic I had learned in 7th grade, I was improving in a significant speed. The challenges that I have faced during this task is that losing motivation, but as I found other friends that also play guitar, I had regained my motivation and more focused than ever before.
Learning outcome 3: Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience
In comparison to other CAS experiences, this one is more complicated and sophisticated. With the help from Mr. Wong and Mr. Lin, our group organizes different events in sports day, the equipment required for different activity and the role of referee in different games. By conducting multiple meeting during school, we are able to gain a better understanding to the whole task, and have higher efficiency of finishing work distributed by Mr. Wong.
Learning outcome 4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences

Learning outcome 5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
We travelled to Tao-Yuan to play a 3v3 basketball tournament, but those public schools basketball players are too strong, they bicep and tricep has totally crushed us. Furthermore, the weather was too cold and sharp, the air we breathe was damaging our lungs. But as we work collaboratively, we are able to secure our dignity, we didn't lost over two points for any game, and we also had some cooked sausage at the game and it was pretty delicious.
Learning outcome 6: Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance
In this activity, we teach English to children from rural school through online video call. The kids were adorable and obedient, I would like to teach them again to be honest. Moreover, the organization beyond horizon is really good based on its orientation and physical presentation to society, and how it contributes multiple aspects of teaching to students and children.
Learning outcome 7: Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions
The ethical issues that we had in modern society in Taiwan is that not every children received education. Some of them are illiterate based on their race, their wealth, leading lack of education opportunity. To make an ethical decision, people who had ability to teach is the people who is responsibility to make an ethical decision, so we should help others who need help in daily life.
Conclusion
Throughout the whole CAS experience, it had improved multiple aspects of my perspectives and me as an IB student. I will advise other IB students to start this project as early as you can, so you will not be rushing your project at the last minute before the deadline, the one thing I might remember after five years is time management is very important.
