It is hard to believe it is nearly the end! This week we are going to try to do two things. One is touch up our "Tools Explored" pages by making the font the same on all the pages and add alt text to the images. The other is to make progress on your portfolio.
Let's make our tools pages as valuable as possible to those who visit this site. Make sure the "What it is" and the "How we might use it" sections are fleshed out with useful information.
CONNECT
Check In with Our Class.
Do you have an idea to share? A resource? A problem? A solution? Let us know!
Or just share a picture of you relaxing on a Saturday morning.

WONDER
Rather than a reading, this week we going to look at the pages we created for the "Tools Explored" part of this class and make them more informative for future readers. Think about someone visiting the page. What do they need to know about the tool you describe.

EXPLORE & WRITE
You'll need to look at four different digital tools over the next ten weeks. You can use this list to find one. For each tool you will be asked to share what you created and write about how it might be used in teaching.
Work on developing a teaching philosophy.

YOUR PROJECT
You have a project to complete by the end of the class. The time you spend on this will vary, but you should work on it each week.
Minutes will vary
My friend Lee LaFever lives up on Orcas Island. This video he made, from 17 years ago, has 2.4 million views. He was an early pioneer of "explaining" stuff on the internet. I hope you see how valuable it is to be able to create a video to explain stuff 😀
This is a recent video of Lee talking about what an explainer is. I think a good explainer it is pretty much a teacher. Or at least "explaining" is part of what a teacher is, or does.
