Memrise is a language learning app designed to help users build vocabulary, improve pronunciation, and gain conversational skills. The free version actually has a decent amount of tools available. Its very interactive and practical. It would be a helpful app to have to prepare for traveling (or while traveling). It's fun and easy to use.

Teaches useful vocabulary and phrases that you'll actually hear and use in real life
Builds listening and pronunciation skills through videos of native speakers
Uses "spaced repetition" to help you memorize new words
Encourages you to practice out loud - uses AI to interact with you and help with your pronunciation
Makes learning fun and low-pressure, lessons are quick and kind of like a game
