By the end of the class you will have completed a large project. This should be well thought out and fairly large in scale. It should include your teaching philosophy and much writing done by you. It is the largest part of this class so we expect to see some amazing work 👍
We will begin with Padlet as a place to congregate and share some course related activities. We will explore some other tools that can be used as "discussion" spaces over the quarter. This is a weekly assignment and you should both share some information and respond to your classmates.
By the end of the quarter you will need to have discovered (or re-discovered) four different technologies. For each, you should tell us what the tool is and how it can be used. That couple be a paragraph or two. You should also share something you built with it. Give us an example of what it is and what it can do. Here is an example with Sutori.
This is where you can write down your progress in the class and you can interact with the instructor. It will be where you keep track of what you are doing in the class. I'll be commenting on these each week, so make sure it is up to date and refects your progress.
The directions for this are here and this can be added to your portfolio if that is what you decide to do. If you choose to explore tools, it can be added to that site or sent to the instructor. Same with those of you choosing to create a learning experience.
Each week we will have a short reading and use a few different tools to add comments and have conversations. We will start with just using a Google Document and then move to Hypohes.is. This activity may inform your thinking about technology and teaching.
At least once during the quarter you will need to meet with me in some way. Zoom, the phone, on campus. Whatever works for you.
