110. Surah Al-Kauthar (The Abundance)

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
1. إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ
1. إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ
2. فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ
2. فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ
3. إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ
3. إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ
Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
Innaaa a'tainaa kal kauthar
Fasalli li rabbika wanhar
Inna shaani'aka huwal abtar
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
To thee have We granted the Fount (of Abundance).
Therefore to thy Lord turn in Prayer and Sacrifice.
For he who hateth thee, he will be cut off (from Future Hope).

1. إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ
1. إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ
2. فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ
2. فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ
3. إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ
3. إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ
Examples for Each Word
إِنَّا (innā) - Indeed We
Example Sentence:
Arabic: إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ (innā a'taināka al-kawthar)
Translation: Indeed We have given you the Kawthar.
Example Sentence:
Arabic: إِنَّا سَنُفْرِجُ (innā sanufriiju)
Translation: Indeed We will relieve you.
أَعْطَيْنَا (a'tainā) - We have given
Example Sentence:
Arabic: إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ (innā a'taināka al-kawthar)
Translation: Indeed We have given you the Kawthar.
Example Sentence:
Arabic: أَعْطَيْنَاكَ هَدِيَّةً (a'taināka hadiyyatan)
Translation: We have given you a gift.
الْكَوْثَرَ (al-kawthar) - The Abundance
Example Sentence:
Arabic: إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ (innā a'taināka al-kawthar)
Translation: Indeed We have given you the Kawthar.
Example Sentence:
Arabic: الْكَوْثَرُ قَصْرٌ عَظِيمٌ (al-kawtharu qasrun 'azeem)
Translation: Kawthar is a great palace.
فَصَلِّ (fassalli) - So pray
Example Sentence:
Arabic: فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ (fassalli li rabbika)
Translation: So pray to your Lord.
Example Sentence:
Arabic: فَصَلِّ الْفَجْرَ (fassalli al-fajra)
Translation: Pray the dawn prayer.
لِرَبِّكَ (li rabbika) - To your Lord
Example Sentence:
Arabic: فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ (fassalli li rabbika)
Translation: So pray to your Lord.
Example Sentence:
Arabic: لِرَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ (li rabbika al-'azeem)
Translation: To your great Lord.
وَانْحَرْ (wanhar) - And sacrifice
Example Sentence:
Arabic: فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ (fassalli li rabbika wanhar)
Translation: So pray to your Lord and sacrifice.
Example Sentence:
Arabic: وَانْحَرْ الضَّحِيَّةَ (wanhar al-dahiyyata)
Translation: And sacrifice the offering.
إِنَّ (innna) - Indeed
Example Sentence:
Arabic: إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ (innna shaani'aka huwa al-abtar)
Translation: Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.
Example Sentence:
Arabic: إِنَّ الْمَصْرَعَ قَرِيبٌ (innna al-masra'a qareeb)
Translation: Indeed, the end is near.
شَانِئَكَ (shaani'aka) - Your enemy
Example Sentence:
Arabic: إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ (innna shaani'aka huwa al-abtar)
Translation: Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.
Example Sentence:
Arabic: شَانِئُكَ مُغْرِبٌ (shaani'uka mughriib)
Translation: Your enemy is gone.
هُوَ (huwa) - He is
Example Sentence:
Arabic: إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ (innna shaani'aka huwa al-abtar)
Translation: Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.
Example Sentence:
Arabic: هُوَ الصَّادِقُ (huwa al-saadiq)
Translation: He is truthful.
الْأَبْتَرُ (al-abtar) - The cut off
Example Sentence:
Arabic: إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ (innna shaani'aka huwa al-abtar)
Translation: Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.
Example Sentence:
Arabic: الْأَبْتَرُ مَسْلُوبٌ (al-abtar masloob)
Translation: The cut off is deprived.
