Sicom Ceramic Brake Discs

The brake discs weight savings and marketed as road friendly caught my attention. BikeHPS is the sole distributor. Despite logisitcs troubles and almost 12 months of waiting, BikeHPS saw it thru. They deserve credit for trust.

The new discs are floating and believe they adopted Brembo's T-drive pins design.

The 2 OEM discs + oem steel bolts weigh 3.147kg.

Sicoms rotors + titanium bolts (bought seperately) weigh 1.336kg. Thats 1.811kg savings of rotational mass.

OEM speed sensor disc bolts - recommended to replace.

Replaced with titanium torx. 4 grams saved.

The front in my opinion looks cooler. The front is extra light now with the already replaced carbon wheels. The H2 tends to understeer that was solved with carbon wheels and now with the lighter discs, it feels like a 600.

BikeHPS also supplied special brake pads which fits with the M50 calipers.

Now awaiting for the rear discs too.
