ABS Bypass + Delete

I hate ABS. I had it bypassed on my Triumph Thruxton and doing the same here. One additional step is to delete the chunky ABS module too.

To start, I am using Custom Coremoto lines who have Kawasaki Green lines. That goes well with the frame color.

The new rear line only weighs 143g with banjos.

OEM removed and replaced.

OEM removed and replaced.

New shorter Tygon brake hose.

The original rear brake hose with lines all the way to ABS module is 765g. 623g for all those chunk of metal.

This is the 3TE front setup. Its neatest arrangement around the forks.

The hose together with a new Brembo RCS19 is 588g.

Front hose with a 3D printer collar to secure at OEM position.

3D printer collar. Both the front and rear will require them if you don't want to use cable ties.

That is so much cleaner. I also drilled out the OEM hose holders.

The OEM setup and master weighs 882g. Thats 294g lighter.

ABS module with bolts. 989g.

FTECU does not list for H2 but HHR performance shared that the UK teams are using it. Hence tried. Its still flashing an error code for ABS and KIBS. When its 970gram lighter, I have to ignore.

The total weight reduce is 900+294+623 = 1817g.

Apart from weight, brakes are definitely better than with the ABS.

Update Jul 2022: The FTECU ABS delete kit prompts an error code.

In Phase 4, I am starting a new project. I got a ABS unit from ebay at $100. Will be stripping it down to leave only the circuit.
