Shorai Batt

The bike comes with factory supplied Yuasa YTZ10S. Its Seal Lead Acid and this brand is commonly supplied by most automotive manufacturers. And typically last about 2~3 years in my environmental conditions.

For the replacement, I decided to go with Lithium as I do with all my bikes. They can be smaller (depending on selection) and definitely lighter which is common sense thing to do on a sportsbike.

I prefer to use Shorai as I have reliable experience with them over the last few bikes, and their charger is easily portable. Not those heavy weight offered for SLA batts. And my local supplier for Shorai offers a Discounting warranty over 3 years which makes the deal far more attractive. Shorai does offer batteries over various sizes for the same spec.

Shorai recommends LFX19 for the H2, but I've decided to with LFX14 as I feel the specs are just above the range of YTZ10S and its significantly smaller.

As I have done with my Triumph Thruxton, I will make an attempt to relocate the battery to save some "Boot" space under the seat for storage.

Cushions were added for the smaller battery. If a new undertray can be done, more storage could be made available.
