About myself

I’ve always been a DIY guy and love doing it. Since the age of 10, have been doing breakfix for home appliances and it went on to audio/video and 230V AC circuits. When I got my first motorcycle at 23, it further evolved by taking engine components apart and putting it back together - with the aim of always adding horsepower, improving power response and getting rid of things that I feel is unnecessary (eg. ABS). The interest led to studying more outside of my field, and also learn the use of materials and techniques. This is where I picked up my first plumbing skills.

Education is important and over the years, I attained the following: Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Degree in Facilities Management and Master of Business Administration. I've been working in the Data Center industry since 2007. And pretty much gained my thermal energy knowledge through my operational experience.

I take pride to engineer, invent and customize to whichever typically deemed as impossible. One of the best custom job was to oversize the wheel on the Victory, using a standard swingarm. I used to race motorcycles professionally in Asia between 2006 to 2009, mostly on a Yamaha R6. I was bitten by a cobra during my high school camp in a forest. I survived it with no reactions and that gave birth to the nickname of "Snakeman", by a friend who was a big Spiderman fan. And since I like to overtake in a zig zag manner in races to taunt my competitors, the nickname has kinda stick.

And I've picked up running quite a bit since Covid19. Find me on Strava.
