Sato Reverse Shift

Reverse shift is a must have mod for me. Though some might argue it ain't for street riding, I use it for all my bikes including the Victory cruiser.

I tried my best to just modify only the shift linkage using Ducati 1098 lever, but the travel was too far. And without pushing out the shift linkage, the QS will get in the way.

Hence no choice and had to go with Sato. I have used Sato on my Triumph Thruxton before and its of good build quality.

Every component was well packed and sealed. It took awhile just to get all the parts out.

Minus the box, rearsets alone weigh 1385g.

The OEM rearsets weigh 1278g,  about 107g lighter.

I think the weight of the Sato is primarily contributed by the many SS bolts.

Right rearset installed

In overall, I recommend this rearsets as they are alot smoother in shifting action. I don't like the heel guard. May be a project for CNC at a later time.
