Pieck Finger is an Eldian Warrior serving under Marley and the inheritor of the Cart Titan. She is notable for her strategic brilliance, her unconventional fighting style through her quadrupedal Titan form, and her eccentric yet kind personality. Despite her apparent loyalty to Marley, Pieck harbors deep concern for the future of the Eldian people, showing that her motivations are more complex than simple obedience.
Pieck is a short young woman with long, disheveled, shoulder-length black hair, a Greek nose, and relaxed, downturned gray eyes that give her a calm and somewhat sleepy expression. She is usually seen wearing a white blouse, a long light trench coat, and a skirt down to her ankles, paired with black lace-up boots. As required of all Eldians under Marley’s control, she wears an Eldian armband on her left arm.
During her infiltration of Paradis, Pieck disguised herself as a Jaegerist, donning a Scout Regiment uniform with a white armband to denote her position. In this mission, she also styled her hair into a ponytail, a look she had also used in her childhood.
In her Titan form, Pieck’s Cart Titan is 4 meters tall and moves on all fours in a quadrupedal fashion. Its body is long and flat, built to carry heavy loads, weapons, or troops on its back. The Titan has an elongated face, full lips, and a large nose, with short black hair and a structure that allows Marley to craft armor and war mechanisms for battle support.
Pieck is portrayed as sweet, caring, and intelligent, consistently showing concern for her fellow Warriors and the Warrior candidates. She possesses an exceptional intellect, quickly analyzing situations and strategies—so much so that Zeke Yeager himself notes how often she manages to deduce the truth before others.
Despite her brilliance, Pieck has an eccentric, laid-back nature. On the train ride to Liberio, she casually handed Colt Grice a drink, indirectly causing him to get drunk and lead chants for Gabi Braun. Her long stretches of time in Titan form also gave her unusual habits, such as crawling on all fours in private and even curling up on a sofa like a cat.
Pieck’s true loyalty is more complex than it first appears. While she served Marley faithfully since childhood, her main motivation for becoming a Warrior was to secure medical treatment for her ill father. Over time, she grew deeply aware of the precarious position of the Eldians, recognizing that technological advancement would make Titans obsolete and that the world sought the eradication of her people. Though she carried out Marley’s will, Pieck also quietly criticized their strategies and wished for a better future for Eldians.
Pieck was born and raised in the Liberio Internment Zone. She lost her mother early in childhood, and with her father gravely ill, she decided to join the Warrior program as soon as she was eligible. Her performance and intelligence secured her the inheritance of the Cart Titan, which also ensured her father received the medical treatment he desperately needed.
Despite this, Pieck’s father expressed sadness knowing that his daughter had only thirteen years left due to the Curse of Ymir. This fueled Pieck’s determination to fight for Eldia’s future, seeking ways to liberate her people from Marley’s oppression before her time ran out.
After inheriting the Cart Titan, Pieck was stationed in Marley alongside Zeke Yeager, serving as a deterrent to enemy nations. Meanwhile, other Warriors—Reiner Braun, Annie Leonhart, Bertholdt Hoover, and Marcel Galliard—were dispatched to Paradis Island in the year 845 for the crucial mission to reclaim the Founding Titan.
