Boris Feulner is a member of the Military Police Regiment stationed in Stohess District and a graduate of the 104th Cadet Corps, though not from the same division as Eren Yeager. Unlike many of his peers, Boris stood out for his pragmatic and level-headed personality, often serving as the grounded counterpart to the more ambitious Marlo Freudenberg and the sarcastic Hitch Dreyse. Though not a central figure in the fight against the Titans, Boris played a significant role in highlighting the inner conflicts of the Military Police, a branch notorious for corruption and complacency. 

Boris has short silver-blond hair combed neatly to the left and pale yellow eyes, giving him a reserved, somewhat stern appearance. He is most often seen in the Military Police Regiment uniform, complete with the regiment’s green cloak when on duty, and a light-colored button-up shirt underneath. While not physically imposing compared to frontline soldiers, his appearance reflects the image of a strict and dutiful soldier, consistent with his personality. 

Boris is characterized as prudent, realistic, and cautious, rarely engaging in teasing or lighthearted banter. Unlike Hitch, who often mocked others, or Marlo, who displayed idealism and ambition, Boris balanced the group with his serious and grounded perspective. He did not enjoy humor at the expense of others, as shown when he intervened to stop Hitch and Marlo from mocking Annie Leonhart.

Though sometimes pessimistic, Boris was not entirely devoid of humor—he would occasionally sarcastically humor Marlo’s idealistic goals, wishing him luck but clearly doubtful of success. This contrast between realism and subtle camaraderie made him a unique presence within the Military Police, often acting as the silent anchor in the trio’s dynamic.

Cadet Corps Training: Boris trained in the 104th Cadet Corps, though he was not placed in the same division as Eren Yeager and the main protagonists. Unlike those who joined the Survey Corps, Boris pursued a safer path by entering the Military Police Regiment, a choice that reflected his pragmatic mindset.

Military Police Service: Stationed in Stohess District, Boris served alongside Marlo Freudenberg and Hitch Dreyse. He witnessed firsthand the corruption and decadence within the regiment, though he did not openly rebel against it like Marlo. Instead, Boris maintained a cautious neutrality, carefully navigating the system while still holding onto some sense of integrity.

Supporting Marlo: Boris’s role became more apparent when interacting with Marlo, whose ambition to reform the Military Police often put him at odds with their superiors. Boris would often caution Marlo against reckless actions, not because he opposed his ideals, but because he understood the dangers of challenging authority in such a corrupt institution. Despite this, Boris respected Marlo’s resolve and provided a subtle, if understated, support.

Involvement in Annie Leonhart’s Capture: During the events in Stohess District, Boris was present when Annie Leonhart was suspected of being the Female Titan. While he did not play a decisive combat role, his presence alongside Marlo and Hitch highlighted the Military Police’s unpreparedness for the realities of Titan warfare, contrasting sharply with the Survey Corps.

Later Years: Following the chaos in Stohess, Boris continued his service in the Military Police. Though not a key player in later battles, his character served as a reminder of the ordinary soldiers caught in the larger struggle between Marley and Paradis. His legacy lives on as part of the trio dynamic with Marlo and Hitch, embodying the grounded realism that contrasted Marlo’s idealism and Hitch’s cynicism.
