Anka Rheinberger was a soldier of the Garrison Regiment and served as one of Dot Pyxis’s trusted escorts, alongside Gustav. Though not a front-line commander, she played a key supporting role during humanity’s struggles against the Titans, particularly throughout the Battle of Trost District and later defensive operations. 

Anka was a young woman with a neat and composed appearance. She had brown, shoulder-length hair often tucked behind her ears, and light brown eyes that reflected her quiet, observant nature. Her expression was usually calm and professional, rarely showing strong emotion except in moments of crisis. Like most of the Garrison, she wore the standard uniform consisting of the regiment’s jacket, boots, and gear. 

Not much is deeply explored about Anka’s personality, but she was shown to be disciplined, loyal, and dutiful. She often carried out Pyxis’s orders without objection, demonstrating her trust in his leadership even when his strategies seemed uncertain, such as using Eren Yeager’s Titan form to seal Trost’s gate. Though reserved, she showed signs of empathy, recognizing that fear alone could not sustain soldiers in battle. At times, she appeared mildly exasperated with Pyxis’s constant drinking habit, showing that she could balance respect with honesty. 

Battle of Trost (Year 850):
Anka was present when the Colossal Titan breached Trost District. She showed shock at the scale of destruction but remained steadfast in carrying out her duties. When Pyxis devised the desperate plan to rely on Eren Yeager to seal the gate, Anka expressed doubt but ultimately stood by her commander, supporting the mission until its success.

Escort and Command Support:
As Pyxis’s aide, Anka was regularly seen at his side during key military operations, helping him coordinate troops and maintain order. She acted as a calm and professional intermediary, delivering information and reinforcing Pyxis’s commands across the regiment.

Later Actions:
Anka continued to serve faithfully during later crises, including the supposed breach of Wall Rose. During these moments, she maintained her composure and reliability, ensuring that Pyxis always had loyal soldiers at his side. Despite her limited battlefield role, she represented the steadfast backbone of the Garrison Regiment, the soldiers who ensured command could function under extreme pressure.
