Armin Arlert is a soldier of the Scout Regiment and one of the central protagonists of Attack on Titan. He is the childhood friend of Eren Yeager and Mikasa Ackermann, known for his brilliant intellect, sharp intuition, and strategic thinking. Despite his initial lack of physical strength and confidence, Armin proves himself indispensable through his ability to devise clever tactics that often save his comrades. Later, he inherits the power of the Colossal Titan, becoming one of humanity’s strongest assets. 

Armin is highly intelligent, analytical, and compassionate. Early in his training, he struggled with low self-esteem and often doubted his worth compared to stronger soldiers like Eren and Mikasa. • Childhood: Born in Shiganshina District, Armin grew up close to Eren and Mikasa. He often felt physically weak and was bullied by other children, but his curiosity about the outside world and desire for freedom inspired Eren. His fascination with books about the ocean, deserts, and the world beyond the Walls sparked his dream of exploration.
  
  

• 104th Cadet Corps: Armin joined the cadets alongside his friends, struggling with combat and endurance training. Despite his shortcomings, he began to prove himself through his strategic brilliance, earning respect after helping save countless soldiers during the Battle of Trost.
  
  

• Scout Regiment: After graduation, Armin joined the Scouts, continuing to show his tactical genius. He played crucial roles in identifying enemy infiltrators, devising counter-strategies, and supporting missions against the Titans.
  
  

• Battle of Shiganshina: During the decisive fight against Bertholdt Hoover, Armin displayed extreme courage. He sacrificed himself in a near-suicidal plan, using his body to distract the Colossal Titan with burning steam while Eren attacked. Though mortally wounded, Armin was later chosen over Erwin Smith to inherit the Colossal Titan, securing his survival and future importance.
