学術環境研究会について
学術環境研究会は、研究者（所属問わず研究活動をする人）のため・学問発展のために必要な条件を考えていく会です。大学を含む日本の研究機関における公正・平等な学術環境について、定期的に勉強会を行っています。メンバーは、研究・教育環境に問題関心をもつ有志・若手研究者・学生など、学芸に携わる人が中心になっています。
現在は、分野・大学の垣根を越えて、望まない形で研究を断念する女性を減らすにはどうすれば良いのかを中心に考えています。特に女性固有の問題になりがちなセクシャル・ハラスメントの根絶・予防を目標に、ハラスメント・フリーな環境に向けて、問題分析に取り組んでいます。勉強会を通じ、女性が活躍するあらゆる場所におけるハラスメントの防止・対策に応用できる知識が得られる研究会となることをめざしています。
We are a group of volunteer young researchers from different academic fields and universities who hold regular meetings to discuss the academic barriers faced by female researchers and how to engender a fair and equal academic environment in Japanese research institutions. Through this discussion, we aim to consider the necessary conditions for academic development as a whole, as well as for the growth of individual researchers.
We are currently working on the analysis of problems that prohibit a harassment-free environment (especially sexual harassment, which tends to be a problem faced by female researchers), in order to eliminate the number of women who give up their research due to unwarranted reasons.
