The sound in space is not really a sound
It’s the silence, the silence between,
Nothing can be heard…but all can be seen.
Our silence, the silence of space
The space in earth, where the sound travels…
The space inside, where the mind can wander,
It is in this space, this silence,
where we can find peace.
Sound, space, silence

The theme today is Peace and our Planet.
As guest hosts, the Music PGCE (teacher training programme) at University of Cambridge, have created 5 peace activities, based on the elements, centred on the theme of peace and our planet. Today's element is space:
Activities:
Watch the video to understand cyberbullying and how *silence* can aid cyberbullying (by being a bystander as mentioned in the scenarios).
Read the poem so that students think about how the poem relates to the main theme.
Cues: How do mean/hurtful messages travel to our mind through cyber-bulling?
Non-audible form – text / emoji / etc How do these messages affect our inner space/peace? What else can we do to stop cyberbullying?
Rapping – speak with your voice! Now, you can speak or rap the poems to music as given below:
Background music - Freestyle Rap Beat | Hard Boom Bap Type Beat | Hip Hop Instrumental - "Behind Barz"
If time permits, students can compose another verse – and extend their rap.
