About Qian Xie

I started my undergraduate Civil engineering degree at the U of A in 2016 and completed it in 2021. I am now currently working on my Master of Science degree under the supervision of Dr. Tae J. Kwon. I came into his team during my undergraduate studies when I was selected for a Dean Research Award Project under Dr. Kwon. During my time here, I have completed 3 work terms for various companies focused on municipal infrastructure. It was because of these work experiences, I realized that I had developed an interest in transportation engineering. 

On my free time, I am either playing basketball or trying to improve my Japanese skills.
