About Fei Zhao

I am here at the University of Alberta for the 2021-2022 year to collaborate with Dr. Tae J. Kwon's research projects. I come from Wuhan University of Technology, my hometown is the famous ancient capital, Xi'an, China. I am currently in the final stages of my Ph.D degree, but since my undergraduate degree I have found a keen interest in traffic engineering and its various phenomena thus I have focused my studies in traffic engineering for the past 6 years. In particular, my interests are in the tidal phenomena, the impact of land use on the people's travels, and the current vehicle-road-human collaboration technologies. 

When not studying or in school, I usually I prefer physical exercise to enrich my life, such as badminton and hiking.
