About Yong Lee
My name is Yong. I'm currently working towards my BSc in Computer Engineering, specializing in Software, at the University of Alberta. In 2018, I earned a Diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology from SAIT. Following that, I had the opportunity to work as a petroleum laboratory analyst for Bureau Veritas at the Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) Horizon Oil Sands.
I'm proud to be a part of Dr. Kwon’s research team at U of A, where I serve as a Dean’s Research Awards student. Our project focuses on "Advancing and Validating a Deep Learning-Enabled Tool for Winter Roadway Condition Monitoring," and I'm wholeheartedly committed to contributing to this impactful initiative.
When I step away from my academic and professional commitments, I indulge in a game of badminton, take refreshing naps, or enjoy a chilled cup of iced coffee.
