Mingjian travelled to Vancouver this year to attend the CITE 2022 conference
Mingjian was selected as the recipient of the 2022 Student Paper Competition Award by the Canadian Institute of Transportation Engineers (CITE).
As the winner of this award, he was invited to attend the 2022 CITE conference in Vancouver, BC. During the four-day conference, he was involved in various events, including academic seminars, technical workshops, cruise dinners, award ceremonies, etc. It was an absolutely unforgettable experience, from which he furthered his knowledge in the field of transportation engineering.
All in all, Mingjian is proud of his achievement, and it would have not been possible without the guidance of his supervisor Dr. Tae J. Kwon. Moving forward, Mingjian will continue to work hard as he hopes to bring more exciting research results to the transportation community.
