On August 15th to 17th, 2025, the GeoTrans research team travelled to Banff, Alberta, to attend the 2025 IFSA World Congress NAFIPS Annual Meeting at Banff Center. 

The event is an international conference focused on fuzzy sets, fuzzy logic, and related soft computing fields. It gathers researchers, engineers, students and practitioners to share recent results, foster multidisciplinary collaboration, and explore theoretical foundations as well as real-world applications of fuzzy systems.
