029.1 Student Technology Innovation, Integration, and Help Desk  I, Advanced College Preparatory, Grades 9-12, Q1-Q4, 1.25 credits per quarter

Students in this P/F course will study how to integrate technology into education, troubleshoot Chromebooks and iPads, repair devices and do special projects for the IT Department.  Students will also be required to spend at least two course periods per month at the Swampscott Senior Center to help Swampscott residents learn technology. We are looking for students that have an understanding of Microsoft Windows, G Suite, Apple OS, and Chromebooks or the ability to learn these systems, are patient, and are interested in helping others improve their technology skills.  Enrollment is subject to MS/HS Library Media Specialist recommendation/approval.
