DESCRIPTION

The Students of Color Alliance or SOCA is a student-led affinity group that seeks to build community, rapport, and harmony amongst the Swampscott Public Schools Community and specifically Swampscott High School. SOCA addresses policies and procedures and also provides education as well as enriching events to make Swampscott Public Schools a more equitable and inclusive community for all. SOCA has held multiple events and partnerships within the district and beyond and has been featured in the press and media for its outstanding accomplishments. The group is open to students of color as well as their allies.
