Reading is a key part of learning and through a range of texts, we hope children become immersed and enjoy reading for pleasure.
Here is a list of recommended reads for Year 4 to help inspire and excite children.
October
This month we have started our swimming lessons. It has been a massive hit with all our fish. Oops we mean children. You'll have to excuse the mistake but they are so impressive in the water it is easy to confuse them. Children look forward to our sessions and are already making good progress.
Well done year 4. We are immensely proud of you, as for some, just getting into the water is a tremendous accomplishment. 😃

We have all settled in well to year 4, and have been enjoying our new topics. In History, we have been learning about the Anglo-Saxons and this has linked to our art unit. Please see our amazing pinch pots below that we have created out of clay using some technical (and fiddly) techniques.
