18 Gauge Annealed Wire
The main idea that guided my project was my pure love and adoration for dinosaurs. It was a difficult decision between a frog, snail, duck, or dinosaur. I ended up rolling a die for it just because I love them all so much. It was a somewhat difficult assignment taking up multiple classes and study halls, but I enjoyed making it. Aside from the many cuts on my fingers and a sore palm, everything went well.
The wire I used was 18 gauge which made it a bit hard. It was like it was just a little bit too big. If I were to do another project like this I would use a smaller size wire.
This experience was completely new for me. I have never used wire to make a sculpture before, but I enjoyed this project. It wasn't totally easy and smooth sailing though. A lot of the connections wouldn't be tight enough and would move and slide around but would be too tight to unhook it. All together I would do this again.
