For this artwork what drove it was not just the assignment, but the mixed media we were able to use. I was able to express this freedom by using what ever colors I wanted. In attempt to make these look like spheres but still use many colors, I obviously went from brightest to darkest kind of colors. Example being using yellow for highlights and red for shadows.

The materials I used were colored pencils, marker, and watercolor. This allowed me to be able to find which material I really enjoy using.

Throughout this process I found the assignment very easy. The blending, highlights, and shadows were just different colors, not dark graphite like I am used to. These assignments really bring out the creativity I have, forcing me to really think outside the box.
