Basing my project off of the prompt a world where people walk upside down, I was able to take that further by creating a scene of a piece of the world and city that is upside down. The people in this world have created two cities, one built on Earth and one built in the clouds on an upside-down island. 

I wanted my first art project of the year to hit it off on a good start, so I quickly decided to work within my comfort zone. That being, I used a sketch and finished with a pen.

The process of creating this piece was pretty quick, mainly because I timed myself to see what I could get done in a limited amount of time. I timed myself for twenty minutes and stuck to it. When the time was up I wanted to add more just because it felt empty compared to my other works, but I held back and took the picture. I am happy I didn't do more so at the end of the year I can go back and time myself again to see how I have improved.
