Linoleum Prints

Non Traditional

Drawn On

Multi-colored

Single Color

The main idea that guided my artwork was the colors I wanted to add. I wanted the colors to match up with my drawing so I knew I wanted to make something I was comfortable with.  The rainbow and brown seemed to match up perfectly while the black really brought out the lines and detail I carved into the block.

I used linoleum block with carving tools and ink with a roller for the printing.

Throughout the long and tedious process of making many prints, I could see my mistakes for each print. I may have not pressed down hard enough, I may have not used enough ink. I have only done this once before, so it was a much different experience.
