Material Based Portrait 

Artist Statement: 

For this project, we began by choosing an important person in our life to complete a portrait of,  using materials that we can connect to them as the basis of our project. For this assignment, I chose to do my mom, using materials from her store in Freeport, Rustic Arrow. 

For this project, I used tags, stamped paper shopping bags, moss, and acrylic paint.
