Zentangle

Zentangle

This is a zentangle. It is a piece of artwork that demonstrates many different patterns. The purpose of this project was to create a zentangle value scale and have our patterns range from dark to light values. I used pencil to sketch all of these patterns as well as a sharpie to create the darkest value and a pen for the second darkest value. I used inspiration from other zentangle drawings to create some of my own patterns.

I tried to make sure that there were a lot of lines on the drawings that were supposed to be darker but for some drawing I started in a lighter value scale box then realized it belongs in a darker value scale box and I had to erase and redraw.

I think that straight or curved (simple) lines are easy to build off of to create an elaborate drawing.

If I were to revise this piece of artwork I would make sure my grey's looked more different.
