Artist inspired

The point of this project was to take two artists/ art movements and combine them into one picture. I had pointillism which was taking primary colors and blending them together with dots and Georges Seurat as the artist and he created pointillism. Then I also chose pop art which is a form of "popular art" that involves bright colors and a very modern subject.

I decided to have my subject be donuts. I painted to the donuts using pointillism by taking red and white paint and making dots to create pink to resemble a strawberry frosted donut. I outlined the donuts with black paint because there are bold outlines in pop art. I then painted the background with bright yellow because pop art is very bright colors, as well I added the Dunkin Donuts logo because pop art has words sometimes in the back. I also added sprinkles to the background to go with the donuts.

One thing I wish I did better was to make the donuts look more pink instead of red. I decided to donuts because there are different colors and donuts and they're a modern theme.
