- The point for this project was to take an image and divide it into centimeter squares and pixelize the image. We needed to color match by putting all of the "information" in the square and blending it together but not blend it with the other squares; no square should be the same exact color. After coloring the picture, it shouldn't look like the original photograph.
- I chose the image of the Boston Bridge with a sunset in a background. I wanted to have a sunset in the background because then there was a lot of color in the picture. I started by dividing the image into one centimeter squares. I then lined my picture up with the paper I was drawing on in order to get an accurate color matching.I had a lot of pinks and blues in my image but no color was the same shade. The farther down I got on the photo, the colors were then mixed with black which helped pixelize the image because each square had different amounts of black in it and then looked less and less like the image.
- I chose this picture because I really like Boston and the colors in the background. To improve this image I would blend my individual squares better especially the ones with the black because you can see the individual colors in the picture instead of it looking like one color.
