Wire Scultpure

Artist Statement:

The main idea that guided my work was that I wanted to do something trickier but not to the point I would really struggle, so I picked out a book from the library and made it with wire but decided not to put the title of the book.

The materials used were 18 gauge annealed wire, needle nose pliers, pliers, and the book.

Originally, I didn't want to do a book, even though I didn't know what I wanted to do, but I realized I was running out of time so I went to the library and picked out a book to make. I did not experiment or research anything because this unit was about controlling wire and making art out of it so there wasn't any need for researching. I did one wire in the middle to represent pages in the book but I did not do many "pages" of wire because the book was very thin.
