Sgraffito

Artist Statement: 

The main idea that guided my artwork is that I wanted to put in a bunch of designs but I couldn't think of anything very creative so I decided to go with random stuff to make up for the empty space.

The materials used were the clay carver and the green acrylic paint for the clay.

I really did not know what to do for this project with clay, I am not a very creative person so I tried to do what I could to make it fill up the space enough and not look terrible. I don't really have a "why" behind any of it. I put random things onto the clay to make it 50/50 with negative space.
