Scratchboard

Artist Statement: 

Why I picked this picture to draw is because I love my dog and I think she is the cutest, her fluffy fur seemed perfect for this piece of art. And I wasn't sure how to feel about the blanket because I knew it was gonna be tricky but I tried my best and made it as wooly as I could.

I made this with scratchboard and a scratcher to get the details done. 

I didn't research anything and I did the stuff the way I did it because I felt like it looked the most accurate to the picture. I really liked how this picture turned out. I did not do any experiments, except I did have to restart because I was going to make the dogs eyes white but I messed up on it and decided to not do that. I chose to do this photo because even though she is just a dog, Luna is a big part of my life and one of the only things that can make me feel same and comfortable.
