Artist Statement:

The main idea that guided this artwork was the designing we had to do, and I saw a lot of drawings so I decided to just do designs in a circle. I don't have a meaning behind any of the designs, I just liked how they looked. 

First, I traced something circular with a pencil lightly and started to make designs, then came up with this as my finished product. I then grabbed a sharpie and traced over all the pencil and colored in some areas I wanted black. I liked the idea of black and white but it just felt boring, so I grabbed a blue marker and colored any randoms spots in each design just to give it a pop of color and a difference from a regular black and white design. 

I didn't look anything up, I just did random designs or asked my peers for ideas of designs I could do. Like I said above, I added a touch of color just to make it not as bland. And the designs are all in a circle because that was the goal of the assignment.
