During our experience as students in SOTA, one of my most enjoyable experiences would be going to the lab and experimenting.
My favourite lesson was when we experimented with coloured wrappers over torch lights and learnt how the colour of the light affects the colour of the object that is under the light.
This allowed the class to have fun with testing the combinations of the different colours. At the start, I found it hard to remember the colour combinations as they were not the same as normal combinations of colours. This experiment really helped a lot of us with memorising the colour combinations.
One experiment that I found very informational was when we used a microscope to observe greater details of cells. We were able to identify the different parts of the microscope and its functions
I find that many of our Science lessons were very enjoyable, especially the lessons in the lab.
We are very grateful to our teacher who has taught us for the year.
In addition to doing hands-on lab work using physical items to experiment, we also had to observe. Hence, this is a time lapse of the diffusion of Potassium permanganate (it is found that the class is very fond of this compound).
