Unbillable Visits

Is it okay to complete a visit that is marked as Unbillable?

No.

Visits scheduled as “Unbillable” are ONLY “placeholder” visits to reserve a time for yourself and a client while authorization is being worked on.  Once auth is received, the service code with be updated for you to a billable code & you will receive a message via your inbox to let you know that auth has been received.

Please do not complete visits if they are scheduled as “unbillable”.   Please reach out to your scheduling team (south) or processing team (north) if you have questions regarding the status of a client's referral or auth.

It is recommended you check your calendar daily on the browser to make note of visits that are scheduled as “unbillable” so that you do not complete those visits.
