This trip was a really good experience ! In Latvia we could see some amazing peaceful landscapes, and meet very great people of lot of different nationalities. This country is very green, and we discovered a new culture ! The first day we participated in a parade. The second we made some workshops for recycling some materials, and during the lunch we went to the castle to watch a concert. The third day we went in a very big Latvian natural park, for the anecdote it's a beautiful place but there are a lot of mosquitos. The last day we planted trees, and in the evening we attended the good bye party and sang “La vie en rose”.

It was an emotional travel, with a lot of good memories ! We will never forget this week in Latvia, and the Comenius project it' was an amazing experience! Thanks for all !

My name is Marine. I was in Latvia in Sigulda with the Comenius Project ! I spent an unforgettable week in this country.

The landscape is beautiful, nature is everywhere !! It's soothing.

We can see that Latvia is an ecological country. Moreover it's clean. There wasn't any trash on the ground.

We received a great welcome, the families were very friendly and generous. Our partners were cool with us !! We met a lot of their friends during our free time. We played bowling, went to sauna,... We had fun !

This trip will stay in my heart forever.

I met wonderful people, I really communicated with all partners from other countries, now they are my friends !! I hope to see them again because I will miss them...

Last week, I have a chance to visit Latvia for a few days.

I visited a lot of nice places in Sigulda and the national park of Vienkoči with a beautiful countryside. We celebrated with Latvian people the celebration of Solstice. We visited the capital city of Latvia too, Riga, which is a very beautiful city.

I bought a lot of nice tops there a I saw a lot of magnificent monuments. Also I met a lot of new friends there and I built a few new contacts.

I hope that I will come one day to Latvia again!

Unfortunately, I haven't had chance to be on every meeting, but from the 3 meetings that I was part of , this one in Latvia was definitely the best, most funny and full of great events. Our topic "Sustainability" of our planet was underlined with beautiful pure nature of Latvia. Every day was full of amusement and I did not even notice that the five day had already passed. I am so glad that I could be a part of the our Youtopian team and now I can be just sad, that we would probably never meet again.

The trip to Latvia was a big experience for me. I've learned a lot about ecology, saving nature and humanity.

I understood the reason, the mission of YoUtopia and I'm really impressed. For me, YoUtopia is like a big family from Europe and I hope that it could continue to expand to all over the world. Let's hope that one day we (YoUtopia) reunite, look at that beautiful world in the future and say :"Hey, we built this".

I'm glad that I was a part of this project and these memories will be kept in my heart forever. Till we meet again.

I thought that Latvia is a poor country. I was in shock, when I saw a lot of beautiful and well maintained places. There is a lot of greenery, very tasty regional food. I lived with a nice Latvian family. I would go there again.

I knew about this before, but now I can say this from my personal experience: international exchange is the best way of traveling! I met lots of gorgeous, nice and outgoing people. I have many wonderful memories. I want to do it again.

All that I can say is that I am amazed, surprised and not least, shocked by all the great things that I've learnt, the super nice people that I met and again, not least, by Latvia. It was a big experience for me this trip, maybe the best week of my life, just because I had by my side only smart and fun people. I created a lot of new friendship, my knowledge about nature, ecology, humanity increased. I know that I will come back in Latvia.

I'm glad that I was a part of this project, of this big European family and I hope that we can share our ideas in the future, continue to expand all over the world. I will never forget Latvia, or all the amazing experiences that I had in this project. Thanks for all!

The experience that I had when I was in Latvia was full of new things. It was different from the ordinary: new habits, different from ours, new people with different opinions and with a unique perspective thanks to the quiet and secluded place, Sigulda.

What impressed me most was the fact that the small town was very clean, and the most pleasing thing for me was that most people, regardless of gender, ride bikes. The cars were in small number, so worthy appreciated .

Their traditions starting with the outfit, food and tranquility made me feel as another person, relaxed and somehow "break" from reality. In conclusion, this experience helped me open my horizons in every respect, and made me see these involvements in different projects with different eyes.

Sigulda is a nice town with a lot of nature and beautiful landscapes, and is very quiet.

I spent a nice week with my host Alan , a nice guy with nice friends and good family, and the other students from all the countries. We took part in so many interesting activities, especially the workshops. I wish to get back one day.

The Comenius Project aims at putting teen-agers in contact with cultures that don't belong to the traditions of their countries.

This project also aims at teaching young people that it is possible to get along with new persons and not only with our best friends. 'The world is beautiful because it is full of differences!' just as friends are...

I also think that this experience makes you become an adult, more responsible person.

Travelling is that kind of experience that changes your life. You can discover new things, cultures, people, places. You can find things you couldn't imagine. This was my first experience without parents, independent. I will remember it all my life...

I will keep the memory of these days spent far from our usual routine for all my life.

I changed the way of seeing the world, as now I look at it with different eyes.

This was the most beautiful experience I've ever done. I met again the boy I hosted in Italy, his name is Vadim. But he was more than a host for me, he is a friend!. A 'friend' is a big word for me. He has always helped me, anytime I needed help.

I also had a great time in Latvia, meeting new people, and also friends I had already met, such as Miru, Angeliki, Alans, Andrei, Eva, Ginta...and many others.

Language was not a problem: laughing, joking, talking ...it was as speaking the same language.

sigulda is a beautiful town..a lot of green, many trees and parks, kind people.

My host family has been really kind to me.

I was very sad to say 'bye' to Vadim' because we have been in contact for more than a year.

I hope that the other students will read my message and think about my beautiful experience.

The experience in latvia has been very important for me. Everything went well. I met again my host, we visited wonderful places, I also made new friends.

I noticed many differences but I also appreciated the importance of a common language to communicate.
