Tuesday 8th April 2014

The first day started at 8.45 when the Comenius partners met at school. After the Headmistress’s welcome to all partners, we started to watch the presentations (PPT, videos, interviews and roleplays) of each country. It was very interesting and we learnt a lot about the different situations of immigration in each country.

At one o’clock the pupils of Primary School welcome our hosts with a little performance with songs and dances. It was a very joyful moment!!

Before lunch we rehearsed the song ‘Heal the World’ for our Comenius concert with the help of our music teacher.

In the afternoon the Italian students guided the partners in the streets of the historical centre in Monopoli, showing the most beautiful sights and monuments in a beautiful, sunny weather.

In the evening the Italian students organized a Welcome Party with music and dances for their partners…
