Jeannie,
You, Jeannie, and your husband of over 60 years have been an inspiration to Pat and me, our community and, indeed, to all humanity. One of Pat’s special “Jeannie” memories is if trying to keep up with you on the walk from the Capitol to the Governor’s Mansion for Immigration reform. He recalls that you have more stamina than he does! You give me courage and hope in knowing that the best is yet to come. You show me how to stretch to do the next right thing. Thanks so much for walking me into the Beloved Community and for standing beside me as I move through incoherence when speaking against bias to finding my voice to lift up loving community for all.
Thanks for all the favorite dishes at Second Sunday potlucks. We have enjoyed meals ranging from Friends Dinners with Barbara Thompson, Ella Belle, and Sam Wolfe to celebrating the Yes Institute and so much more. Thanks for smiles, hugs and kisses!
You let the best of life shine through you, and you always play it forward.
Congratulations on achieving another milestone -- graduation! Pat and I love you!
