100 - unfinished business

October 11, 1985: An amnesic Maggie Gioberti left her husband Chase (yes, again!) after being brainwashed by Angela, who has just lost the Agretti harvest. As a revenge, Angela told Maggie about Chase´s rumored (but unconsumed) affair with his winemaker associate Connie. Funnily enough, the only person Maggie felt comfortable with was Richard Channing, maybe because she was in his tender arms (and lips) when a bomb exploded in his house with both of them inside. Also in this episode, we first met Julia´s secret son Father Christopher (played by Ken Olin, seen before in "Hill Street Blues", afterwards the main star of "thirtysomething" and currently a producer of shows like "Brothers & Sisters", already cancelled, and the new ones "The Mob Doctor" and "Sleepy Hollow"). At the same time, Melissa finally is released from prison to find her bitchie cousin Robin playing families with Cole and Joseph; Lance turns to Terry (Laura Johnson)´s ever warm company, and Richard´s life still is in danger. Just the usual "Falcon Crest" stuff, all done with the best possible taste!!

7 de noviembre de 1987: Una amnésica Maggie Gioberti abandonaba a su marido Chase (sí, otra vez...) tras sufrir un lavado de cerebro por parte de Angela, que acababa de perder la cosecha Agretti. Como revancha, Angela revelaba a Maggie el rumor de que Chase tenía una aventura con su socia en el negocio vinatero, Connie (aunque no la habían consumado...). Resultaba curioso que la única persona con la que se sentía a gusto Maggie era Richard Channing, tal vez porque eran los acogedores brazos (y labios) de éste los que la protegían cuando estalló la bomba en su casa con ellos dentro. Tambien en este episodio, conocíamos al hijo secreto de Julia, el padre Christopher (interpretado por Ken Olin, ya visto en "Canción triste de Hill Street", luego como el protagonista de "treintaytantos", y actualmente, productor de series como la ya cancelada "5 hermanos", y las recientes "The Mob Doctor" y "Sleepy Hollow"). Al mismo tiempo Melissa salía por fin de la cárcel y se encontraba conque la lagarta de su prima Robin estaba jugando a las familias con Cole y Joseph; Lance recurría a la siempre cálida compañía de Terry (Laura Johnson), y la vida de Richard seguía en peligro. Lo habitual en "Falcon Crest", y hecho con el mejor gusto posible...
