67 - the avenger

May 11, 1984: Julia Cumson was shot, burnt and supposedly dead after trying to kill Mama Angela and kidnapping Melissa and Cole´s son Jason. The next week, in the cliffhanger episode, almost all the family flew to Tuscany (Italy) to bury her ashes (or what was taken for them) in Richard´s sabotaged jet, piloted by Chase. This was one of the show´s most exciting season finales and put the series at the top, next to "Dallas" and "Dynasty". The FC fans still remember who survived the accident and who didn´t (Michael Ranson, lawyer Phillip Erickson, Cole´s wife Linda and the co-pilot). Prior to that, also Richard´s secretary and lover Pamela Lynch (Sarah Douglas) had been presumably killed by the Cartel (she returned the next year).

Febrero de 1986: Julia Cumson recibía un disparo, y moría quemada presuntamente, tras intentar matar a Mamá Angela y raptar al hijo de Melissa y Cole, Jason. La semana siguiente, en el episodio de final de temporada, casi toda la familia volaba a la Toscana (Italia) para enterrar sus cenizas (o lo que ellos creían que eran sus cenizas...) en el avión saboteado de Richard, con Chase como piloto. Fue uno de los cliffhangers más emocionantes de la serie y la colocó en lo más alto, junto a "Dallas" y "Dinastía". Los fans de FC aún recuerdan quién sobrevivió al accidente y quién no (Michael Ranson, el abogado Phillip Erickson, la mujer de Cole, Linda, y el copiloto). Previamente, también la secre-amante de Richard, Pamela Lynch (Sarah Douglas), había sido presuntamente asesinada por la Compañía (aunque regresó el año siguiente).
