One of the limitations of telemedical consultation is that the physician cannot do the actual palpation of the patient’s body as can be done during face-to-face consultation.
ROJoson mitigates this limitation by doing the so-called “physician-guided patient self-palpation and relative-companion-palpation” of concerned areas. The relative-companion validates the palpation findings of the patients. ROJoson uses still and video pictures to evaluate the palpation findings.
Through a real-time video chat or conferencing, ROJoson teaches the patient and the companion on how to do palpation of the concerned areas.
Example: how to palpate the armpit for lymph node.
Example: how to palpate the neck for lymph node.
Example: how to palpate the liver for possible mass.
Example: how to palpate the chest wall for possible mass.
Example: Teaching patient and companion on how to palpate the neck for possible masses.
Example:Teaching and asking a companion on how to and to palpate the neck for possible mass.
ROJoson liberally uses write-ups to complement the online teaching.

If a surface mass is palpated under the skin, ROJoson will teach the patient and relative on how to palpate the mass further. He will teach them on outlining the mass, moving it in all directions while taking video pictures, measuring the mass and doing other manuevers as needed to evaluate the mass. ROJoson will study the pictures taken, especially the video pictures, to make a diagnosis.
