Coins

Coins. Things we handle all the time every day. Until of course, the "cashless society" comes in full fashion.

But coins are interesting to look at. I like to reach in my pocket and look at the dates on the coins and to think of those years and what I did then and if it was better or worse or the same.

They are metal aides-memoires. They are useful. And, like the air, they have been everywhere. We just don't know. It would be interesting to follow a coin around the world for a year.

So, we reflect on past memories of all kinds. Thanks to the metallurgists's brilliance. The blacksmiths and metal forgers were considered kinds of magicians in the ancient times.

So life goes -- without magicians now.
