When I cut half an avocado I place the half not being used , cut part facing down in a small amount of water( in a small bowl) and place it in the refrigerator. The half remains fresh for a couple of days! But I definitely will try this too.
Joan Weindorfer you can just run the cut half under cold water throw in fridge. It doesn't go bad
