~ Personality Change
Once a girl likes you enough (she is at a big grin :D state), she may ask you about the type of girl you like. Usually this happens when you walk with her either to school or back from school.
Usually, when she asks you the first time, there will be 2 or 3 choices. (The choices might be different for different girls. The choices also depend on how you greet her and how you reply her mails too.) The bottom choice is telling her you like her the way she is and she will not change her personality. The other choice(s) will make her change to the type you choose. (Read more about personality at Misc/Personality.)
If you ask her to change her personality in the previous step, she may ask you again later when you walk with her. This time you will have 2 choices. The top one will usually change her personality back to her default one when the game starts. The bottom one will let her keep her current personality. (P.S. Did you see that my Nene has different colors under "TYPE" on the left screen? In previous picture, it was orange-ish and this one is pinkish.)
The girl's personality will make some different in her confession style. Each girl has 3 personalities (Type A, B, C). If you want to collect all the memory events in the Gallery, you may have to replay the game and get confessions from all types of personality for each girl.
